Ethan Kabler, a graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Systems, now works as an IT Security Administrator. 鈥淚n my current role, I wear many hats,鈥 he says. From examining logs and designing new IT solutions to managing policies and working with internal teams and third-party vendors, Ethan plays a key part in keeping systems secure and compliant. His journey started at Ennovar, where he held roles as a Helpdesk Technician and later as a Cybersecurity Analyst at Textron Aviation.
鈥淓nnovar provided me the experience I needed to be considered for the position I鈥檓 in,鈥 he shares. 鈥淚t was an environment where I could learn from others, and my own mistakes.鈥 The hands-on experience helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world problem-solving. He also credits Ennovar with helping him grow professionally. 鈥淚 received professional guidance that enabled me to cooperate more effectively with my colleagues and communicate my thoughts in a structured and efficient manner.鈥

Ethan looks back on his time at Ennovar fondly. 鈥淚 enjoyed being surrounded by people who always wanted to learn and grow as IT professionals, and as individuals,鈥 he says. 鈥淚 was fortunate enough to make a lot of connections, friends and colleagues, that I intend on maintaining.鈥 Outside of work, Ethan enjoys playing guitar. His advice for current students is simple but valuable: 鈥淜eep yourself busy and always have a question for someone. Maintain curiosity and always ask for feedback, especially from superiors.鈥
Ethan adds, 鈥淚 look back on [Ennovar] and definitely miss it.... the people, the novelty of learning to be professional, and the path of discovering what I wanted and where I would go next.鈥
