"Navigating USDA SBIR / STTR: A Beginner’s Guide for Startups, Small Businesses & Researchers"

This session will cover:

  • USDA SBIR/STTR eligibility and topic areas
  • Key components of a successful proposal
  • Common pitfalls and how to avoid them

Who should attend:

  • Entrepreneurs, researchers, and small business owners developing agricultural, environmental, or rural technologies
  • University faculty or students interested in commercializing research
  • Innovation ecosystem leaders supporting ag-based ventures

Bonus Opportunity:
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with a USDA SBIR/STTR Program Manager following the workshop to discuss specific ideas and receive tailored guidance. The link to schedule a 15-minute one-one-one with the USDA Program Manager will be sent in the confirmation email once you register. Limited spots are available, if you do not see an open time slot from 2-3 p.m. CST for Tuesday, July 8, you will have the chance to schedule a call for a later date.
