Bachelor's of Business Administration in Information Technology Management Information Systems with a minor in Business Analytics and the Emory Lindquist Honors Track

Why did you choose ?

As a first-generation student I had to pay for college by myself without any assistance and WSU gave me the opportunity to do so. I also fell in love with WSU while attending a Black & Yellow Day my junior year in high school.

Which organizations were you involved in?

Student Ambassador Society and Management of Information Systems Club.

How did being involved with the Student Ambassador Society impact your time at WSU?

I believe my time as SAS allowed me to connect more closely with the campus and incoming students, and I loved being able to connect and help incoming students.

Which faculty or staff member impacted you the most during your time here?

My professor, Dr. Akmal, affected me the most as he was always pushing me to achieve my very best and was always happy to help me and other students achieve their goals.

How do you feel about graduating?

It is an extremely weird feeling as all I've ever known was attending school in some form and now that I've completed my education my life will surely be quite different. I am very excited to have graduated in three years and I can't wait for what is next.

Which experience at challenged you the most and what did you take away from that challenge?

My most challenging experience was this last semester of school as I was working a full-time job while also being a full-time student. I had little to no time to do anything else, but I did learn how to manage my time effectively.

What are your post-grad plans?

I plan on continuing with my full-time job at INTRUST Bank as an IT Support Specialist.

What advice would you give to incoming students?

Get connected and get involved. The more involved with campus you are the more you will enjoy your experience at WSU.
